The exact same MIDI files are used for all shootout participants.
The Groovebox Shootouts contain both acoustic and electronic drum kits and focus on groove patterns that are used on the exact same Bass and Rhodes backing tracks. These are deliberately kept very simple to make both straight 8th or 16th grooves as well as various degrees of swing, shuffle or halftime-shuffle work along with them.
